Survey of the new company’s best selling consumer electronics retailers BestBuy’s showed 48% of consumers believe that in Britain is still too expensive for 3D but 70% still prefer the technology of this.
Soon after launch event Nintendo 3DS, generation handheld game machines in the world’s first to support 3D display capabilities, Best Buy has carried out a survey on consumer perceptions of the UK about 3D.
Of the 2000 participants in the survey, Best Buy found that 48% of respondents still think that 3D technology is too expensive but at least 70% had experience with this technology and prefer to use it.
Most of them do not enjoy 3D at home, however, about 16% were the 3D view on your TV at home or at someone else’s house.
“Advances in technology can make our lives easier, more enjoyable, more productive and better connected,” said Rob Wilkins, director of Home Theater and Entertainment at Best Buy you get consideration.
“We wanted to prove to customers that all people can receive most of the technology to live a digital life faster, richer and fuller.”
Best Buy hopes to change the 3D mind too expensive. Rob Wilkins said, “With the popularity of the movie blockbusters such as Avatar, people may have thought that to get a 3D experience effectively, they need to spend a lot of money to purchase equipment and TV 3D.
However, we have reviewed all the entertainment products we offer and really noticed that prices are only equivalent to HD TVs, we encourage consumers to remember to take that when considering buying a new TV. “
